Author Guidelines
Poster Submission
For posters please submit an abstract. The abstract should be a clear summary of the work emphasizing the major results and conclusions. It should be no longer than 400 words and should not include any references or acronyms.
Paper Submission
Manuscript
Submissions should be in the form of a short paper, 3 - 6 pages (in pdf format, font 12-pt.). Manuscripts are to be written in English. They should include title, author(s) and affiliations, abstract, as well as the text of the paper and references. Figures should be placed inline in the text. Please indicate whether the submission is an oral presentation in the sensor or general track. Oral presentations will be organized into sessions by topic. In the beginning of the poster/demonstration session every author will have the chance to briefly introduce the poster/demonstration with two slides.
Papers should be organized as follows: Title (should be clear, descriptive and not too long), Authors and their affiliations, Abstract (one paragraph not to exceed 400 words), Keywords (four to six), introduction, methods and techniques results and discussion, conclusions, Acknowledgments, and References. Tables and Figures should be included inline at the appropriate points in the manuscript. All tables and figures should include a descriptive caption and should be referenced in the text of the article. SI units should be used throughout.
Abstracts
The abstract should be a clear summary of the work emphasizing the major results and conclusions. It should be no longer than 400 words and should not include any references or acronyms.
References
Citations in the text should use the (author date) style, including the author's last name and the year of the publication [e.g., (Jones 2001)]. Multiple cited works should be separated by commas [e.g., (Jones 2001, Smith 1999)]. Inline citations should refer in the text to the author's name (without initial) and year of publication. For example, "Since Smith (1999) has shown that ...". If a publication written by more than two authors is cited, list the name of the first author followed by "et al." [ for example, (Brown et al. 2005)].
All cited publications should be listed in the 'References' section, which should only include references that were directly cited in the text. Check spelling carefully to be sure that authors' names and dates are exactly the same in the text as in References. Do not abbreviate the titles of periodicals mentioned in the References. The references list should be formatted using the following style:

Figures
* Number the illustrations according to their sequence in the text.
* Produce images at the desired size of the printed version to reducing scaling issues during printing.
* Each figure must have a caption. A caption should include a brief title and a description of the figure and should explain all symbols and abbreviations used.

Submission Preparation Checklist
- The submission is original work and has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
- The paper submission file is in pdf document file format. For poster submissions an abstract is acceptable.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; includes a descriptive abstract no more than 400 words long; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
- At least one author of the paper (probably the presenting author) has registered for the conference at the time of paper submission.
